MHRA Timeline on Implementation of Regulations ⏳

The UK government has extended the standstill period for medical devices until July 1, 2024.

🔹 This means that CE marked medical devices can continue to be placed on the UK market until this date.

🔹 The standstill period was originally due to end on June 30, 2023.

🔹 The extension was announced in response to concerns from industry about the challenges of transitioning to the new UK regulatory system.

🔹 The government has said that it will publish further guidance on the future regulation of medical devices in the coming months.
