European Committees for Electrotechnical / Standardisation requested to revise standards 🔥

The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (Cenelec) have been requested to revise existing harmonised standards and draft new harmonised standards in support of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 for Medical Devices and in support of Regulation (EU) 2017/746 for In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices.

 This affects over 200 current standards, with the deadlines for new drafts set for 2024 onwards.
